Feeling fashion-challenged? Let me inflict my ideas on you! I want to help. Got quite cold here on the East Coast, luckily you can always put your Hue Tights underneath your L’American Sheea Long Sleeve Romper that you wore all summer and over that just put on Mackage Dale Wool Trench Coat, which is just perfect for this weather! This Kate Spade watch is just terrific and it goes perfectly well with color block Kate Spade hand bag. Oh, and this regal and chic bracelet is also by Kate Spade. I absolutely love it! For necklace I picked fierce Panacea two-tone, crystal studded link necklace.  If you want to take a break from your pumps and high heels, these almost boringly functional Keds are a classic and insanely comfortable choice. Final touch: these chic Nadri hoop earrings. And please don’t hide them under your curls, they were made to be shown.

What would the Fashion World be like without Kate Spade?

Who else makes such well-balanced, yet playful hand bags and chic, lady like clothing? I’ve always liked Kate Spade. It is the perfection that makes it so unique.

I am total mess! I wear beanies and short denim cutouts with tights, high rise booties and pink watches; faux fur vests and fleece blazers.  Then I look at the Kate Spade’s designs on their website; their looks are just really so organized and clean. There is no place for white noise anywhere, they shout old 30s, 50s retro excellence, panache and ease.

Fashion magazines and style websites, fashion bloggers and stylists (myself including) have multiplied to the point of insanity. Women are bombarded with runway coverage, designer trends and accessories. Don’t get me wrong we love it! It is part of the fantasy; we adore the virtual possibilities and really love being submerged in all of the excess fashion coverage while paradoxically dying of thirst for some worthy old-fashioned style fascism.  And then you step into Kate Spade boutique on 789 Madison Avenue; and you know right away that this place is about its vision. It is absolute. A place that appreciates woman and cares enough to give her fashion directives she desires.  Imagine Liz Taylor in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” think Jackie O, Greta Garbo, Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn having a glamorous tea party there.
