Grown-up chic.

Every year fall comes alive with the top looks from the world’s runways.

This fall, which is a season of inconspicuously elegant looks, brands like Vince and Eugenia Kim lead the way.

As a fashion stylist I really must know the science of how clothes should fit. These brands helped me reach a truer understanding of polished look and refinement at its most contemporary.

As tribute to these brands’ influence on my style, I put together this simple look. (see details below)

MIU MIU

FOREVER 21

BAG: 10 CROSBY DEREK LAM

Animal prints are back in style and look especially fresh with a pair of easy black crepe pants. Offering enough polish to go from desk to dinner, these Easy pants from Vince boast a flattering slim leg and ease of wear with its effortlessly cut crepe fabrication. You can make this look funky, sexy, or more conservative.

For fashion professionals, from designers to photographers to the fashion stylists, the business of style is a continual challenge and, an occasion, as puzzling for us as for anybody.

To some this look is groundbreaking, rule-shaking masculine. (It’s a man’s world after all.)  I call it relaxed elegance.

Eugenia Kim loafers are very sophisticated shoes, and they’re not really seasonal. The women who will wear these don’t think about the weather.  They are masterpieces that really compete with your clothes.

I am wearing: Pants: Vince (sold out similar here), Shoes: Eugenia Kim, Top: Alice + Olivia (old), Clutch: 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Sunglasses: Miu Miu, Bracelets: Forever 21, Palm Beach and Blue Nile.
